I followed the instructions in two of the knowledge base
articles to successfully remove the default games that
are installed with Windows 2000. The instructions in the
first article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;EN-US;223182) needs to be followed in order to
have the Accessories component appear in Add/Remove
Windows Components window under Add/Remove Programs
Tool. Once you have made the Accessories appear, you can
then follow the instructions under the second article
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;314614) to remove the default games from Windows 2000.
