Removing Win XP Pro

Hello

I have Win XP Pro on one of my two drives (not an upgrade) which I would
like to uninstall.

Can this be done from cmd prompt please and, if so, how?

If you are not booting from that drive you can simply format the drive.

Would you know if the cmd for that is: D:/format (D being the drive the O/S
is on?).

And let me add the comment that SteveH has to be booted to a different
operating system to do this, not the one he wants to delete.
