Hi,

I just purchased a new VAIO laptop and am trying to customize my start menu.
The Sony folks put a "Welcome to Vaio Life" shortcut on the start menu (just
below run) without an apparent option to remove it. I tried removing the
shortcut to this in the start folder, but it still persists after start up.

Any thoughts?

I hate it when manufacturers force us to look at their crap.

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. In the advanced options, there is no
manufacturer's link line/box to uncheck. Any other thoughts? It looks like
Sony doesn't want me to get rid of their link!
