removing web sites from history

when i enter into the Tools bar and then into INTERNET
OPTIONS, i have attempted to delete the history, cookies
and offline files. Thw computer will delete all of it
except for 4 or 5 websites which it will not remove and
whenevr i type an address into the address bar, the
webpage pops up. how do i get rid of these pages from
history permanently?

any feedback would be great thanks
