Can anyone tell me in an uncomplicated way, how to remove Napster from my PC
even though there's no icon on my desktop.

Napster is shown on my add/remove programs but when I try to delete it, it
keeps coming up with an error report.

Thanks.

A Google search on the term "napster uninstall" indicates that you will have
to actually edit the registry to remove Napster. Most of the information I
just browsed seems to agree with this ridiculous method of removal. Napster
apparently does not provide an uninstall routine for their software. This
is unacceptable. Maybe someone can point you to a better removal method.

Install it again and then do as below. The reason it will not work for you now is that you have removed or deleted something concerning Napster.

2) Uninstall Napster

If you no longer wish to have Napster installed on your computer you may now remove the application.

a. Click on "Start" and "Control Panel" (some users may need to click on "Start" and then "Settings" before seeing the "Control Panel" icon".
b. Double click on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon in the Control Panel.
c. In the list of programs locate and click on the "Napster" entry and click on the "Change/Remove" button to begin uninstalling Napster.
d. Follow the rest of the on screen prompts and restart your system to complete the uninstallation
