I have searched many forums on this subject, but have been unsuccessful thus
far at finding an answer. I want to be able to disable the Min/Max/Close
toolbox completely. I have managed to rid myself of the 'X', but haven't
found how to get rid of the Min or the Restore buttons.

Any help would be very appreciated.

in the design view of your form, click on the grey box
above detail and on your left side. Then right click and
choose properties, then where it says min/max button on
the format tab (about half way down) choose no. then close
the properties and save the form and look at it in and it
should be as you want it. Remember different property
settings show up depending on what part of the form you've
selected.

Sorry, I did not do too good of a job explaining. I was referring to the
Min/Max buttons for the application, not the forms. I know how to get rid of
all that stuff on the forms. I know that I can get rid of the Access Window
completely and get rid of the buttons, but I really would like to keep that
and just disable the buttons. As I said, I have the code to rid myself of
the 'X', just not the other two. Thank you for your help though.

One last bump here:

Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish disabling the Min/Max
Buttons for Access Applications without removing the entire Access Window? I
have found code to disable the "X", so one would assume that the Min/Max
buttons are possible as well.

sorry jhardy66 if I have made you more frustrated by asking your favour
rather than answering your question. How do I get rid off the Access window
completely? and how to restore it in code?
Many thanks

Thanks Jonathan. Yes, please send me the demo db.
(e-mail address removed)

I wonder how to restore it in code (because i'm not very code literate at
all :-P) by ways of command button maybe

regards,
Sam

Hi, Jonathan,

Yes I have receieded your email with attachment on 12/03. Thanks :)
Sorry for haven't been able to reply back to you about the outcome because
we're currently having a computer shortage problem here and hence haven't had
a chance to try out the demo.

Once again, your kind help has been more than helpful!

Regards,
Sam
