Can someone help me in removing some of the items my
computer uses during Start-Up??

1. I've tried msconfig, start up, un check the boxes, BUT
the items come right back up when I restart the computer.

2. I've tried going into the properties of the individual
programs, but cannot seem to find the right combination.

My computer takes TOO LONG to restart because all of the
B.S. that has to be Started-Up first.

What the heck do I need RealPlayer or Messanger for
example to start on a restart, if I use these programs
very seldomly??

Thanks for ANY suggestions,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Remove the run keys. More information here, some of which you have already
tried.

Check for an option to not having the icon load in the System Tray via the
program(s) in question.

Other options for removal:

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.

Or...remove the runkeys from here: Start/Run/Regedit
