HI,
I ran this by my IT guys, but they failed miserably, so
I'll give the group a crack at my simple little problem.
Outlook 2000 allowed me to (accidently) drag my Contacts,
an outlook "special folder," into my Calendar so that it
became a subfolder of my calendar. But then it decided
that because it is a special folder it would not allow me
to either move it back or to delete it. Way to go
microsoft!
I can copy it back to the appropriate level (as a 1st tier
subfolder of Outlook Today), but the original stuck under
calendar remains the default for all newly created
contacts (as well as for my palm pilot). So I continue to
use it rather than run the confusion of fishing all my new
contacts out of a duplicate folder.
My question is: Is there anyway to get this my Contacts
folder back to the appropriate place?
It has not created huge problems, and my palm still can
synchronize with the contacts folder as a subfolder, but
it would just be nice to put my contacts back with its
special folder peers.
It seems like there should be a simple solution to this...
Thanks
