I have windows XP... My granddaughter installed windows messenger and now it keeps popping up and logging her in! HELP please!!
Thanks.

Greetings Marvin,

Actually, Windows Messenger comes with Windows XP -- what she's done is save her password
which keeps it signing in. To remove this, click the Start Button, then click the Control
Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP account name
you're currently logged under, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks,
click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net*
(Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.

After this, if Messenger is still running -- right-click its icon in the notification
area/system tray (by the clock) and choose Exit.
