Hi there,

How do I stop the ########### from appearing in a cell that has a formula. I
need to keep the formula, but it is calc'd off a cell which sometimes has
numbers, sometimes has letters, hence the ########### appearing.

Plz elp me

Hi,

If it is an error condition, you can eliminate with function similar to
=IF(ISERROR(formula),"",formula)

where formula is your original formula.

Is it exceeding the column width? If so, try widening the column, this has
been my experience with the ##########.

Are your formulas working with time or date?

Excel does not deal with negative times and will produce the ########## if any
are calculated.

Na! There just $prices ie 23.50 which have text in them ie POA

eg: X2= X1*1.1 where X1 is ^above - when the POA is there I get ##########.
I need this result to appear blank. I have tried conditional formating,
nada!

Cheers!
