when removing programs, i.e. Webshots ( I was told this
has spyware, is this true?), I removed it via add/rem
programs. However, when I do a search of
files "Webshots" afterward, some files show up. Is it
safe to delete anything named Webshots that is left on
the computer. Or any file in general that you've already
removed via add/rem programs? thank you!

Hi Eric,

According to a quick Google search, it looks like Webshots does not but is just "suspected"
(there are lots of "suspected" applications out there).

Regardless to answer your later question, this is actually pretty normal as many applications
leave their settings in case you decide to reinstall the application (MSN Messenger being one
of these applications as well), but generally speaking, it usually is okay to delete what you
find. However, if you do *not* know what you're deleting, I suggest you simply leave it
alone.
