Removing programs

I have a couple of programs that I am unable to remove by
going through the control panel and using the Add/Remove
programs feature. It keeps giving me errors syaing that
it could not find a certain file so it could not remove
the program. Anyone have another way of removing any
unwanted complete or incomplete programs?

If it tells you what file it needs to uninstall the
program, then you can usually open regedit.exe and click
edit, then find, and look for the file name. Then delete
the registry key that the file name is in. However you
should not do this if it is a microsoft program (ie.
office, windows media player, etc.) because often the
registry will have three or four keys with the file name
in them, and if you delete the wrong key then you could
have problems with the stability of your computer. Hope
this helps.
