Removing Programs

I have tried removing several programs in both the
Add/Remove Programs utility (in Control Panel) and via
the uninstall on the All Programs folder. The programs
are not listed in the All Programs folder and when I try
via Add/Remove Programs utility I get a message "cannot
open INSTALL.LOG file." One person suggested I try the
procedure in safe mode and I got the same message. Please
help.

Try re-installing the program(s), then uninstalling the program(s) again.
