I installed a game designed for Win 95/98 and although it works, the
uninstaller does not work, nor does uninstalling from "add/remove programs"
in control panel. Is there a safe way to properly unistall this program, or
is there a third party program designed for this?

....and with no more than a cursory glance at the dead camel Frank decided it
was time to put the World to rights with this little gem:

Delete every trace you can find in Windows, and download a registry cleaner
to wipe away the residue - there are loads available, mostly free, just
google for it :-)

For a safe way to uninstall the program, contact the program vendor. AFAIK,
third party remove tools normally "like to watch" during the installation,
although some try to figure out what the program's dependencies are. I
cannot really advise you on third-party products for this. The vendor is
your best bet.
