can you please help me remove programs from quick launch
menu. I have tried searching for information, but got
nowhere. thanks
A) IF you are referring to the "Quick Launch Area" of the Taskbar (on
the left-hand side,) then right-click on the icon you want to remove,
and choose "Delete" from the popup menu.
B) IF you want to turn off the Quick Launch" toolbar completely, right-
click on a clear area of the Taskbar, choose "Tool Bars" (at the top),
and uncheck "Quick Launch"
C) IF, on the other hand, you are referring to the "Notification Area"
(formerly called the System Tray) on the right-hand side of the Taskbar,
you must set each program individually (from within each program's
Options menus) to not display an icon in the Notification Area.
