How can I remove the "Programs Folder" from the Start Menu
on W2K Pro box? I've removed EVERYTHING but the Logoff
button, and the "Programs Folder". Any help is greatly
appreciated.

This is the closest we can get with the built in policy. I suppose you can't
remove Programs Folder from the start menu completely , but remove and hide
the content of Programs Folder.

Have you seen the follow policy settings:

User Configuration

Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar Remove user's folders from
the Start Menu
Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar Remove common program groups
from Start Menu
Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar Remove pinned programs list
from the Start Menu
Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar Remove frequent programs
list from the Start Menu
Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar Remove All Programs list
from the Start menu

Christoffer,
THANK YOU for the reply. I've got all of that stuff
removed right now, and I've go the contents of the
Programs folder hidden as well. I just want to get rid of
the Programs Folder all together. Then only thing I want
my users to see when they click on the start button is the
Logoff option, nothing else. At this rate I don't think
it's going to happen... If you know of another tip/trick
PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Bill
