I am not having any luck working out how to hide the icon to "Printers
and Faxes" and "Scheduled Tasks" in the control panel.

There is no Group Policy support in my image so I can't use that to
hide the icons post FBA. I would prefer to do this in my SLX file
anyway.

Does anyone know what registry entries need to be added or removed?

My google searches have come up with some ideas but none of them work.

Ok, "Scheduled Tasks" is not a problem. Just don't include the
component.

"Printers and Faxes" and "Taskbar and Star Menu" are a problem, however.

Mike,

if you navigate to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ControlPanel\NameSpace\
folder and expand Namespace, you should see several folder underneath it.
Each one pertains to the icons in the Control Panel. Delete or rename the
appropriate folder for the icon you want to get rid of.
