Anyone know how i can remove posts from the Newsgroups? I
made a mistake of using my proper E-mail address on my
first couple of posts and would like them removed to try
and stop spam. Probably too late but I'd like to try
however.

Thanks,

Ian.

Since you were using the web interface ... no chance.

If you were using a real news reader, then often you can press delete
key or something and it will delete from the server on which you posted.
However, odds are that between the time you post and then you want to
delete it will have replicated to tens of thousands of machines around
the world.

Sorry.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Yep - I have got them removed from Google already, however
even though I did post them from Google they still appear
in this Newsgroup. Any further ideas ?

Ian

Contact Google? They do respond to your e-mails.

Roady - I contacted Google who said I had to approach the
service that is archiving the posts - i.e The MS
Newsgroups. I cannot find any contact details at all for
the newsgroup managemment - any ideas ?

Ian.
