Removing Outlook outbound mail

I have a very large file that has taken over my Outlook Express outbound mail box. Does anyone know how to delete a file if you change your mind and don't want to send. I have highlighted the file and tried "delete" but it won't delete. What are my options?
 
hi- I'm having the very ame problem. Outlook says it's already started sending the messgae and it can't be deleted. The error report send me to a link at microsoft with an update but you can't run the update without the installation disks and my roommate whose computer this is can't find them.

I have no idea what to do.
