I just installed Windows XP Pro on my home machine. I am
not using the local admin account for logining in instead
I created another user. I just noticed 2 additional
folders via Windows Explorer that I do not want 1)
<username>'s documents and 2) Shared folders
I would ultimately remove these folders and just leave
the My documents.
How could this be done.

The username documents can't be removed.
This is the actual location of "My Documents" where you see My Documents in
Windows explorer
is basically just a ghost or link to the actual My Documents folder which is
under your username.
The Shared folders folder can just be ignored if you aren't using it. It is
pointless to bother trying
to remove it as it doesn't take up any space etc.
