Removing One Bullet but keeping bullets on Master

I have been given new template to use. Unfortunately, whenever I close the
presentation it puts back bullets I have removed. The only way I can get
this to stop happening is to remove the bullets from the Master slide. This
in turn requires I rebullet all of my slides. In the past I have not had
this same problem. Is there a quick fix?

Has this template been edited in more than one Office version? Or on Mac AND
on Windows? Differences in these systems may cause slight corruption as seen
in your version. The best fix I found is to start with a new blank template
in the version you use and copy the images into the master but format the
text placeholders starting from scratch. Then save it as a new template. Not
quick, but lasting.

Best regards,

Thanks. My one problem is this is a "corporate" template using a variety of
masters in one presentation and I do not have access to the original images
being used as background. Is there a work around this?
