Removing old contact

I never use Messenger on my laptop but thanks to Jonathan, I was able to adjust it so that it's in the background & Remote Assistance etc won't be affected.
There is only one contact's name which I have blocked. However, it's driving me nuts that I can't remove the name! I checked & he added me to his list but that was like a yr ago. I know it's dumb as I don't even use the program on my laptop but I just want his name off.
Any suggestions?

I'm traveling so first chance to log on.
His name is in the Blocked List. I can unblock it but I
can't delete it. It's bugging me.

The name is in my list of blocked contacts. That's the
only place it appears. I can switch the name over to
the "Allowed" list & it will appear there. When I check
further, it shows that the contact has added me to their
list.
Any thoughts?
