please configure your OE for a functioning SIG delimiter.
Should be "-- " (with the space!). THX in advance.

I can't seem to find that setting. Perhaps you know where it is. Will you
let me know?

Max,

What format are you using for NNTP posting? You are using OE, but some
clients, like TB IIRC, when set for format-flowed (Content-type), will
strip trailing spaces thus borking the sig delimiter.

sorry, but I'm using Seamonkey not OE. Perhaps try google searching
"Outlook Express+signature+delimiter"? Look at the other (few?) OE-user
with working sig-delimiter (dashdashspace).

I am using plain text set to uuencode.
The delimiter seems to work in Outlook's newsreader(which I guess is the
same as OE's) withQuoteFix running.
Is there another setting that I am not familar with?

Sorry, Max. I am using a Moz-based client. Try what Peter suggested. Set
OE to view all headers, and see the settings for posts using OE that
have the proper sig delimiters.

If I Copy and Paste (into Notepad, for example) or Edit as New a post
with a proper sig delimiter, the space is there.

Ron :)

THX, now it does indeed :-)

If anyone is interested, I added the delimiter with a space to my sig
text file.
