Removing Norton

I switched to McAfee last year and used "Remove Programs" to delete Norton. Its still hanging around though and delays me from opening Word whenever I want to see a document. I ran a search and found that there are still some parts of Norton System Works in Program Files. It doesn't show any longer on "Remove Files" and some .dll file will not let me delete it now. How do I rid myself of it once and for all? Thanks to anyone that can help!

Have you tried to remove Norton by using the original CD
you purchased?

Go to the Symantec website and download one of the uninstaller programs
for the package you had.
