removing Norton completely

I removed Norton using add/remove and rebooted when prompted. I still
got a Symantec update firewall popup in Zonealarm. How do I
completely remove it?
 
Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel.

When I go to the control panel, there is an icon between Speech and
System that says "Symantec Live Update", but there is no such program
to remove in Add/Remove.

Listed as a line item in the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel

OK, great. I looked under the wrong letters S and N.

You might need to visit Symantec and download RNAV or RNIS, for the
relevant year & product. Otherwise, run Regedit and do a very careful
search and delete for such keywords as Symantec and Norton, again
depending on your product. I sugest backing up your registry files
first.
