When I access my address book, there are several blank contacts lists listed.
I have to open the dropdown list and select the botton contact list to
select a person. I recall seeing this problem before but cannot seen to find
the solution on how to remove these blank entries. BTW, how does this happen?

Depends entirely on your Outlook version, which you decided to keep secret.

There are multiple causes, with importing among them.

Then click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or
address books>Next. Select Outlook Address Book and remove the incorrect
folders there.

Hey Brian,

I also have a question regarding my address book. I ues Outlook 2003 on my
desktop with SBS 2003 as my server. When I go into my address book, I see
several entries of ( ) in the list. I can not delete them. I would say theirs
about 20 of these ( ) in my address book. Any help on how to get rid of these
would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean that when you click the ADdress Book button in Outlook you see
these entries? In what address book (Show named from the) do you find them?
If in the GAL, you should bering them to the attention of the Exchange
admins.

The ( ) are in the "Outlook Address Book" under contacts.

Then they may be peculiar entries in your Contacts folder. Display your
Contacts folder with a list view and see if there's anything peculiar there.
