This is one of those nice to have's.... I look after the
IT for a medium-ish size company (approx 60 users). We're
running Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2002.
We have a number of sandwich vans (at least 3 a day) that
visit our business park. And as a nice reminder our
receptionist sends out a notification to all, to let us
know when they're here.
The problem occurs when anyone goes on holiday for a
period of time. They return to a large number of emails
from our receptionist. This is becoming an annoyance to
some of our board level users.
I'm aware of the recall function but this creates an
additional email until the user attempts to access the
recalled mail. I'm also aware of the expires option, but
this too leaves an email in the inbox.
Is there anyway to completely remove an email from a
users inbox if they have not been opened, either manually
or automatically.
Many Thanks inadvance for your help
