removing Kespersky

What is the best method of removing Kespersky anti-virus and Kespersky
anti-hacker from my computer? I don't want any references that relates to
this software left hidden in some hard to-delete file. Thanks for any
advice. I am now looking for another anti-virus to protect my computer, any
ideas? Free if possible?

Just use the uninstaller provided with the program. As far as I know
it removes all references to the program with the exception of the
'KAV' folder which is installed to c:/ by devault and the 'Kaspersky
Lab' folder also in c:/Program Files by default.

You can always use a 3rd party registry program. Registry mechanic
works well - http://www.winguides.com/

What about the ads? How do you get rid of these?
