Removing item from Menu Bar.

According to the MS Outlook Search function, this question has not come up
before. I use Outlook 2000 Sp3 Internet Only. Some time ago I put Spam
Inspector (Giant Corporation) on my machine and it placed an item called Spam
Inspector on the Menu Bar in my Outlook. MS bought Spam Inspector and
eventually turned it into Windows Defender which is out in Beta. Support for
Spam Inspector was withdrawn by both Giant and MS. I uninstalled Spam
Inspector and downloaded and installed Windows Defender. The Menu Bar item
Spam Inspector remains in my Outlook - it doesn't open any more. Neither
Giant nor MS will talk to me. How do I get rid of it? Thanks, Denzil.

Try right clicking on the menu bar & remove the checkmark by Spam Inspector.
You might also need to use Addon Manager on the Other tab in Tools, Options,
Advanced Options, Addin mgr to uncheck it there.

Right click on the toolbar and then click Customize.
You can then drag and drop the problem buttons off the toolbar.
