I set CHKDSK to check my C: drive upon the next boot. When it ran, I
got only one message:
(It gave my user name where I wrote XXX above.)
My question is, what does this mean. What is an "invalid long folder
entry"? I googled for the phrase and got nothing.
I'm not asking if the error was serious -- I can't imagine anything
in Recent Documents is serious since I don't even display it on the
Start Menu. I just wonder what an invalid long folder entry might be.

Fortunately, I live in the United States of America, where we are
gradually coming to understand that nothing we do is ever our
fault, especially if it is really stupid. --Dave Barry
