Is there a way to revert Norton Ghost's marking of drives?
Is there a way to revert Norton Ghost's marking of drives?
Possibly, using -FNF switch when restoring image to a new drive.
The problem is: I didn't made any clone nor imaging:
I simply marked a disk (a mistake, just after ghost's loading).
Doesn't ghost provide any way for simply removing marking from a disk?
Nope.
From what I read on the other replies, I should
find inside boot track after mbr: what should I find?
And, last: is this infamous marking known to cause problems?
Install the Win 2K/XP resource kit, and use dskprobe to open physical drive. Read the first 63
sectors and look for any data after the first sector (MBR).
