removing games

How can I remove the games included with Windows XP. I
want to remove them in such a way that I can not install
from "Add/Remove Windows Components". Please help, I am
wasting too much time playing those games. Window's File
Protection does not allow me to delete or rename necessary
files. Thanks.

They are, as you've discovered, system files and therefore will be replaced
if the actual files are deleted. Be strong. Good thing you haven't
discovered all the free games available online at
http://www.zone.msn.com/en/root/default.htm .
