Alan,
I think part of the problem you're running into is that Microsoft lists
Freecell and Solitaire as protected Windows System files. You can uninstall
them through Add/Remove Programs, but the actual exe files do not get
removed from your hard drive. And if you try to manually remove the files,
Windows will put them back through Windows System File Checking.
The only way to permanently remove the files from your hard drive would be
to turn off System File Checking, then delete the files from both the
C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache folders on your hard
drive.
Microsoft has support Q-Articles that detail how to disable System File
Checking, search for "disable windows file protection" at
http://support.microsoft.com. Disabling SFC will require a system reboot,
then once SFC has been disabled and the system rebooted, you can delete the
files from both locations on the hard drive.
Hope this helps.

Alan,
What games are you trying to remove?
Did you install and uninstall them previously, but some files didn't get
deleted during the uninstall?

How can you remove games for win2k when it does not show
up in add remove programs. The only thing I have
currently been able to do is change the security on the
exe file.
