How do I know which fonts te remove. MS Works is telling
me I have over 500 fonts on system and I should remove
some of them.

Create a new folder and then move the fonts that you do not want from
the FONTS folder to the new folder to deinstall them. Leave it that
way for some time.
If no problems occur and if you are sure that you do not longer want
to keep the moved font files you can delete them.

go to contro pannels, fonts, then delete the fonts that
you do not like. then have the microsoft word names in
the file name so you know which is which
