removing files

i just like to ask can i remove the "MSXML 4 PARSER" in
the control panel (add/remove programs)? and also, what
programs/files can i remove/delete without doing any harm
on my PC? please help...

You need that. I think its a component of IE used to display XML data. You cannot remove that.
 
i removed those files... do i have to download it again?
and by the way, in lay man's term, what are the XML data?
