My cousin's computer he got from a friend that was connected to an Exchange
server, but now it is not. He is unable to remove the Exchange account due to
this popup: "Your MS Exchange server is unavailable. [click Ok, Cancel, or
Retry] When he clicks 'Ok': Unable to open the default email folders. Your
profile is not configured." My question is how to remove the Exchange
profile from his computer without having to reinstall Outlook?

Delete the Exchange profile from the registry at
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/Windows Messaging
Subsystem/Profiles. Then look for a key with the same name as the Exchange
profile and delete the entire key. If no Exchange accounts are needed, then
delete all profiles within the profiles key.

Rather than editing the registry, you should be able to remove the Exchange
Server service from the Outlook profile from 'Control Panel| Mail'.
