removing domains

Hi,
We have Active Directory on one of our servers and an
additional domain controller. The additional domain
controller had hardware failure and is being removed
permanently. I used the "ntdsutil" to remove the server
object under "AD Sites and Services". The problem I am
having is in trying to remove the old controllers name
under \\Active Directory users and computers\domain
controller\computer name. I tried using "ntdsutil" with
out success. Any ideas? Thanks.
