I have a computer using xp that use to belong to a domain. I can access the
computer via the Admainstrator login. I want to remove the computer from the
domain as it wont let me add any new users because it is looking for the
Domain. how do I do that? Any help would be appreciated

You must connect it to it's domain, log in, open System Properties, click 'Identification' and change 'Domain' to 'Workgroup'. You'll be prompted for domain admin password and you'll leave domain then.

Well darnit that domain is no longer.

Log in as local Administrator and change to a Workgroup.

The best solution, if this is a company machine no longer in use at the
company, is to do a clean install so any domain policies that were tattooed
on the machine will be gone.
