Removing document files and/or folders from My PC

Fr some reason, I seem to have a "mirror image" of my documents under My PC
in Explore. Those documents exist in the right places in My Documents, but
they also have appeared (no doubt because something I have done) under My PC
in folders tree in Explore.

If I eliminate the files in My Documents (where they are supposed to) the
files that appear in the "mirror" set also get eliminated. If I restore from
recycle bin, they get restored to both places.

Does anyone know how I can remove such folders that appear under My PC?

It's not a mirror, it's just a different view. Live with it......
 
Hello Gordon and thanks for your reply. If you have had this problem, you may
no longer have to live with it. I found the solution. If you can read
Spanish, just read below and follow the instructions:

Para quitar la carpeta de Documentos compartidos de MI PC deberás hacer lo
siguiente (To remove documents files from MY PC, do the following)

1) Ir a Inicio - Ejecutar, escribir regedit y Aceptar. (go to "run" and
write in "regedit" and click accept

2) Una vez adentro del Registro de Windows ubicar la siguiente cadena: (once
in regedit, find the following string

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders

3) Encontrarás una rama con valor: (there, you should find the following
values string)

{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}

La borrás y listo. Luego reiniciás y ya no te molestarán más los Documentos
Compartidos. (remove it and restart your computer)
