Under Group Policy.

I am having a problem with the folder tree pane. I want to remove the
desktop tab and the desktop icon or prevent use of it in the save a
copy save in box. Any suggestion? My network places is locked and my
recent documents is locked but my desktop allows pdf and jpg to be
installed on the desktop.

Thanks,
Dan

You can also modify permissions for the desktop folder for the user and all
users under documents and settings\user and all users to prevent items from
being created on the desktop. Just change permissions to read/list/execute.

Thanks Steve,
However this will not work... Because I have icon.ink link on the
desktop. Permission would remove the icons or make them of no use. The
only tab that needs to be deleted is the desktop tab. This will prevent
anything from being sent to the desktop.
Thanks for all your help!
