Removing dead ODBC connections?

I have ODBC "connections" (whatever they're called) in the ODBC panel that
refer to software that is no longer installed. This is stopping me from
installing a new connection with the same name. I cannot Remove the
connection, because that gives me an error saying the software's been removed
(*sigh*).

Anyone know how to manually remove these things?

hi,
run regedit and go to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI for system DSN's
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI for user DSN's

delete the key that you want and reboot the computer
