Please help - this is probably a simple procedure, but I am stuck !

I inherited a pc with a lot of programs I wouldn't use, so I
unistalled each using the control panel/unistall programs feature.
However the icons still appear on the start menu - how do I remove
these non-functional icons ?

Thanks for any help...

Hello
Right click on them and the left click delete

Hope this does it

You should be able to just right click and remove or delete them. after all,
they are only shortcuts to non-existent programs.
Let me know if that doesn't work for some reason.

It depends as to whether they are just in the 'your user name' Start menu or
All Users.
Right-click on Start, click on 'Explore all Users' and remove them from
there first, then delete any left over via the normal Start menu.
