Hi if a computer is nolonger a member of a domain, where
can i delete on the dc information regarding this old pc,
so as when i issue a new computer the same name it does
not say this name has already been issued.
I am running windows 2000 server

Thankyou

You can just run ADUC and delete it from the "computers" folder (be sure to
allow the deletion to replicate to other dc/s before adding back), or you
can also get a little more complicated and do it via adsiedit (one of the
support tools that can be installed from CD - support/tools/setup.exe).
Start/run adsiedit.msc
then expand the Domain NC, your domain, and then delete it from the
CN=computers folder, or whatever container it may have been moved into if
not the default computers (note that this is a gui based active directory
editor)

When you said "computer" I'm taking that literaly as meaning a non-dc, as a
dc will require a bit more to remove properly if it wasn't a clean demotion.
