Hi,
For reasons too long to explain, we have a child domain along with all it's
domain controllers, that is no longer in existence. I want to remove any
trace of this child domain from our parent domain. I have tried using
metadata cleanup, but every time I try to delete the domain or the naming
context for that domain I get:
DsRemoveDsDomainW error 0x20ab(The cross reference for the specified naming
context could not be found.)
My question is: How can I manually remove ANY trace of this child
domain from active directory? Can I use ADSI edit? If so, what entries
should I delete?
Thanks in advacne for your help
