removing an old workgroup(network)

How do you remove an old workgroup(network)? I have created a new one but the old one is still active and may be causing problems. thanks in advance for any info

never mind it goes away on its own.

There's no explicit way to remove a workgroup. If there are no
computers belonging to a workgroup, it will automatically disappear
after a while.

What type of problems are you seeing? I think that something other
than a workgroup is causing them. If you'll post a news group message
with complete details, including the full text of all error messages,
I'm sure that someone can help.
