removing a thin client and replacing with a desktop

What i want to do is take the thin client down and replace with a
desktop
but when i log into the desktop it pulls the thin clients profile i
checked
AD and there was no setting to change this.do i need to wipe the
profile
and start from scratch.

I'm presuming you've got TS profile paths set up per user? You should, if
you don't...e.g., \\fileserver\tsclients$\%username% You should also be
using folder redirection for My Documents, Desktop, and Application Data to
your file server (e.g., \\fileserver\users$\<foldernames>

You can also use a roaming profile path if you like, but if you don't, the
TS profile should not get downloaded when you log in to a desktop - you
should get a new, vanilla profile.
