Removing a Network

I currently have two computers running Windows XP Home
Edition connected in ad-hoc mode by two Microsoft wireless
USB adapters. When I first installed the adapters and
Microsoft Broadband Network Utility, everything ran
beautifully. A week ago I had to unplug one of the
adapters, and after plugging it back in, somehow something
went amiss. I had to re-install MS Broadband Network
Utility and tweak with the settings to get the network back
up and sharing my cable connection. But it has been slower
than it used to be, especially when I make direct
connections to computers to play online games (ex. Rise of
Nations). I'd like to remove all traces of the network and
begin anew, as if I had never installed the adapters in the
first place. I've run system restore, but the network was
not removed. Is it possible to uninstall and then
reinstall the entire network?

Go to Device Manager and un-install the wireless network adapters.
