Recently an IP professional put a partition on my hard
disk so that I could install Mac OSX on it. Well the
installation fell through and the partition gives most of
my HD space and preformance capabilities to the empty
side. How do I remove the partition? The IP professional
is currently in China and will be there for business for
the next few years.

You can use any one of several 3rd party products to
remove the partition without losing your data or the
Windows XP installation. Partition Magic is the first one
that comes to mind but there are several.

The alternative is to save your data, etc. and during re-
install of XP you'll have the opportunity to remove
unwanted partitions.

Good Luck !

The only way you can create, delete, resize or merge existing partitions,
and not harm your existing Windows installation, is to purchase and use
a third-party partitioning program such as Partition Magic 8.

The alternative is to perform a "clean install" of Windows XP:

P.S. A "MAC" operating system is designed to only install
on an Apple computer.
