removing a calendar from PST

Is there a way to remove the calendar from a users
personal folder? I would like to be able to have one
calendar setup for in the top inbox so that other people
can be able to view their appointments.

I recreated a users personal folder and copied each of his
folders that he created into the new one. I then deleted
the old pst but a new calendar popped up under the new
one. I have been able to do this to some users that it
didn't create a calendar in the personal folders. Is
there a way I can just delete the calendar so I don't have
to go through all those steps?

Do you use the Exchange Server? If so, is that where the
extra calendar was created? Or did you just create another
PST?

Have you tried highlighting the sub-calendar folder and then
pressing the delete key? If so, what happened?

We are using an exchange server for the top portion of
outlook. The personal folders are stored on another drive
location. Usually when we create the pst folder it does
not have a calendar in it but for some reason some users
get the calendar showing up in the personal folders and
they have a calendar in the top folder in the outlook
today folder. I am unable to hit the delete key. It does
nothing. I even tried to right click to delete that way
but it is grayed out. We are using Office XP.

Where is their delivery point set for? The PST or the top
level (on exchange)?

The delivery point is the place that new mail is delivered to.
Whereever this is, that is where the "system" folders are.
You cannot delete the "system" folders (without special
tools). If they need to have their free/busy information
available to others in the group they need to have their
delivery point set for the Exchange "system" folders. That
would mean that you would not want to delete these folders
but rather have them not use the PST's for their main
calendar information.
