I have windows XP and I know that it came with Power
Point already installed. My nephew was on the computer
and he removed the program through the add/remove
programs on the control panel. Is there a way I can
recover the program without going out and buying it?

PowerPoint doesn't come with Windows XP. Windows is your operating system.
PowerPoint is an application that comes either as a standalone program, or
as part of most versions of the Microsoft Office Suite. Did your computer
come with some CD's that may have PowerPoint on them? Perhaps one of them
is Microsoft Office? If so you can install PowerPoint from it, assuming
that it is included in the suite.

Power point was already installed on my computer when I
purchased it. I used t use it for school. Now I need it
and dont know how to get it back. My warranty is up on my
computer so they will charge me just to tell me what to
do.

Did you keep the CD's that came with the computer? Look through them and
let us know how they are labeled. Ultimately a call to the manufacturer
might be cheaper than buying the standalone version of PowerPoint.
